New resale and consignment shop opens in downtown O’Fallon

O’Fallon’s newest boutique, Divine Thrift & Consign Resale Shop, opened in May the city’s historic downtown shopping district at 111 W. State St.

The store offers what it calls a “Uniquee Boutiquee” way of shopping where customers can find great buys, one-of-a-kind treasures, and fashions at affordable prices. For those with a stylish eye for the latest clothing trends and couture, Divine Thrift & Consign Resale Shop will also resale items from local consignor.

“We hope shoppers who visit our boutique will have an enjoyable experience,” said Vivian Moore, owner of Divine Thrift & Consign Resale Shop. “Our goal is to make sure those who visit leave with a positive image about themselves and their purchases.”

Moore, who resides in O’Fallon and is also a philanthropist, says sales from her store will help support Girls Inc. of St Louis and Fostering Hope Closet in Lebanon, Mo. Both are non-profit organizations that help young ladies and families in the foster care system.

For now, Divine Thrift & Consign Resale Shop will only be open weekends from 12 noon to 6 p.m., with plans to eventually expand their hours of operation.
