United Way of Greater St. Louis, MetroTix partner, turning tickets into community impact

United Way of Greater St. Louis (UWGSL) and MetroTix have launched a new partnership that gives audiences a simple way to give back while enjoying the arts and live entertainment they love.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the St. Louis region and supporting local individuals and families.

Through the partnership, MetroTix ticket purchasers can now choose to donate $1, $5, or $10 to United Way at checkout, turning every ticket into an opportunity to support programs that help people live healthier, more stable lives. Together, MetroTix and United Way have made it easier than ever to give back, one ticket at a time.

As two organizations deeply rooted in the St. Louis community, this partnership reinforces a strong commitment to local support. It reflects MetroTix’s role not only as a ticketing provider but also as an active partner in strengthening the region.

“Our audiences already come together to enjoy incredible experiences,” said Jim Downey, general manager of MetroTix. “Now, they can also help make a difference in the community with just a few clicks.”

United Way of Greater St. Louis supports more than 150 local nonprofits and helps more than one million people each year across a 16-county region in Missouri and Illinois. This partnership creates another pathway for people to get involved and support the work happening across the community.

“This partnership reflects what makes our region so strong—people coming together to support one another,” said Michelle D. Tucker, president and CEO of United Way of Greater St. Louis. “By working with MetroTix, we’re creating an easy way for people to give back and be part of something bigger. Together, we can continue to strengthen our community and help more neighbors access the support they need to live their best possible lives.”
