Cork Tree Creative introduces summer intern Rachel Goebel

Local public relations and marketing firm Cork Tree Creative, Inc. has recently welcomed their 2023 summer intern, Rachel Goebel.

Goebel, born and raised in Prairietown, Ill., is a junior at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. She is majoring in advertising and strategic communications with a minor in journalism. During her academic career, Goebel has worked with two St. Louis organizations to create advertising campaigns for them. As the account manager for both campaigns, she created and presented each organization’s deck and worked alongside her classmates to create rebrands, design assets, and reconstruct websites. In addition, Goebel competes with the NCAA Division I Lindenwood Field Hockey team and is a member of Lindenwood’s Ad Club. Throughout her two years at Lindenwood, she has gained knowledge and experience in the advertising industry.

During her internship at Cork Tree Creative, Goebel will have the opportunity to expand her knowledge and gain practical experience in a marketing agency setting, producing social media, press releases, and website content for clients in a variety of industries throughout the Metro-East St. Louis region.
