A variety of celebration options await in the St. Louis region for Mom on Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and several local businesses are celebrating in fun and unique ways. See below for a list of specials and events in and around St. Louis:

In the Illinois/St. Louis Metro East:

Eckert’s Country Restaurant (951 S. Green Mount Rd., Belleville, IL 62220): Eckert’s, the pick-your-own family farm and country store in Belleville, Ill., is hosting a Mom’s Day Out event on Saturday, May 6. The event will begin with a 5K Run at 9 a.m. to benefit the American Cancer Society and will include a sip and shop with local vendors in the Cider Shed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Live music will play in the Cider Shed from noon – 3 p.m. Guests will be able to enjoy Eckert’s hard cider and bites throughout the event. Participating vendors include The Coffee Pot, Be Jewelry Co., Hydra Wellness, Lily & Livy Shop, The Mod Shop Social, Bronzed Beauty Bar, Bombs Away, Like x Lou, Wild Patch Creations, and Crafted Essentials. City Foundry STL (3730 Foundry Way, St. Louis, MO 63110): City Foundry STL’s retailers and kitchens are gearing up to give St. Louis moms a special treat this Mother’s Day. From cheesecakes and ice cream pops to artisan necklaces and curated skincare, there are endless options for celebrating mom.

Starting Mother’s Day, Chicken Out will offer guests the chance to treat expectant parents, new parents, or any parent you just want to celebrate to a delicious fried chicken feast. The New Mom Menu will offer the choice of  20 or 30 piece tenders (choice of sauce), a choice of two sides (mac, slaw, superfood slaw, fries), and a four-pack of Chicken Out Pils.
