O’Fallon Parks & Recreation seeks RFPs for non-alcoholic beverage suppliers

Qualified vendors are invited to submit a proposal for the furnishing of exclusive sales rights for non-alcoholic beverages at O’Fallon Parks & Recreation facilities

On Jan. 3, 2023, the City of O’Fallon, Ill., Parks & Recreation Department announced that it was requesting proposals from qualified companies interested in providing non-alcoholic beverages including carbonated soft drinks, non-carbonated drinks, and sports beverages department-wide.

The Department is seeking a service contract to take effect on Feb. 10, 2023, and to be awarded to the vendor who can best meet the needs of the Department.

The Department hosts over half a million visitors to its facilities:

• Community Park, The Grange, Katy Cavins Community Center & Memorial Pool
• Thoman Park
• Rock Springs Nature Center and Park
• Hesse Park
• Public Safety Lacrosse Fields
• O’Fallon Sports Park

The City of O’Fallon is located 20 miles east of the City of St. Louis. Current population estimates for O’Fallon are approximately 31,000. The Department has over 400 acres of parkland and offers a wide variety of recreation programs. The Department offers over 375 programs a year. The Parks & Environment Committee consists of five appointed council members who serve four-year elected terms. The Department operates under a director who is an employee of the City of O’Fallon.
