Café Biz 618 Shared Workspace, located within the Crossroads Shopping Centre, at 10850 Lincoln Trail Suite 16, Fairview Heights, was able to conduct its official ribbon cutting, after surviving the Covid-19 pandemic.
The new shared workspace and event venue, opened to the public on Feb. 3, 2020, before falling under governmental restrictions, due to the virus. The team, led by Kim King and Ke’Ira Lewis, adjusted their business operation accordingly.
King and Lewis said they are grateful and appreciative to the many community members who have hosted their small to large gatherings within Café Biz’s event space, the professionals who have utilized the facility for a change in work atmosphere, and the attendees who have taken the “virtual journey” with them, as the two ladies strived to remain a professional resource for startups, small-business owners, entrepreneurs, and organizations.
Now operating completely in-person, at full capacity, Café Biz offers business professionals many options, such as drop-in workspace, dedicated desks, private offices, meeting rooms, and more. The contemporary style facility is usable for hosting showers, parties, networking events, and much more.
Assisting at the ribbon cutting were members of the O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce.
