St. Louis Children’s Hospital offers audiology screenings at Memorial Hospital East

Memorial Hospital East has teamed up with St. Louis Children’s Hospital to offer audiology screenings on the hospital’s Shiloh campus.

SLCH provides hearing and speech services on the first and third Tuesday of each month in its mobile unit which will be parked adjacent to Medical Office Building One, 1414 Cross St in Shiloh.  Staffed by audiologists and speech pathologists from St. Louis Children’s Hospital, the mobile clinic provides the same services as its traditional clinics by appointment only:

·         Hearing testing for children from birth to 21 years of age

·         Follow-up from newborn hearing screening

·         Support for hearing aid, cochlear implant and bone conduction systems

·         Speech and communication support for children with hearing loss
