ALTON — The RiverBend Growth Association has named State Street Market its Small Business of the Month.
The bistro, wine bar and shop, and courtyard are located at 208 State St., owned by Terri and Glenn Beaubien (center). The operation is described as a European style cafe and market with a large selection of wines.
The RiverBend Growth Association selects a small business to honor each month. Winners are selected based on a scoring system that awards points for number of years in business, number of employees, overcoming adversity and community service.
