InstaCredit Automart hosting holiday food drive

InstaCredit Automart locations are collecting canned food, dry goods, and personal care items this month at all four St. Louis-area locations for local food pantries.

InstaCredit Automart has locations in Collinsville, Arnold, Mo., O’Fallon, Ill., and O’Fallon, Mo. Each location will donate to its local food pantry, the Collinsville Food Pantry, Arnold Food Pantry & Thrift Store, O’Fallon Community Food Pantry, and HOPE Food Ministries of St. Charles County, respectively.

Each dry goods or personal care donation will automatically enter the donor in a raffle to win a brand new large, flat screen, High Definition TV. Every five cans of food donated will also total one entry into the raffle. There is no limit on donations or entries to win.

“We’re hoping to join forces with the communities we are fortunate to be a part of, to drive donations for families in need this winter,” shares Don Birger, president of InstaCredit Automart. “Midwest winters can be rough and we want to do our part to alleviate some of the stresses.”

Specific wish-list items from the food pantries include cans of soup, macaroni and cheese cups, Hamburger Helper, pasta, vegetables, baby items (shampoo, wipes, food, formula, diapers, etc.), women’s hygiene items, shampoo and soap.
