Clinic director marks new ownership at Chiro-Med Health Care Facility

O’FALLON — The O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon this month on Chiro-Med Health Care Facility, 1480 N. Green Mount Road, Suite 300A, O’Fallon.

Dr. Chad Weber (shown with scissors) has been the clinic director for Chiro-Med O’Fallon since September of 2013, but recently purchased the clinic in January of 2017. Chiro-Med is a clinic that provides chiropractic care, physical therapy, spinal decompression, and doctor-monitored weight loss programs.

The ribbon cutting helped marked the business’ 11th anniversary.

Weber said his mission is to help people live a better quality of life by reducing pain and educating them on the importance of taking care of their spines for the duration of their lives.

“We are taking the same approach to spinal care that dentists have used for oral care for decades, and that is prevention,” he said. “If you think about it, the average person has never had their spine fully examined. When you go to the medical doctor for a physical they check every system in your body except for your spine. They never do a full spinal exam unless the patient is feeling pain.”

By the time that the patient is having symptoms, there is usually a significant amount of spinal degeneration already occurring, he said.

Weber offers educational presentations and lunch and learns to local businesses and organizations at no charge.
