Alton travel program offers free presentation for trip to 2018 Kentucky Derby

ALTON – Senior Services Plus’ Travel Program in Alton is planning a group travel trip to the 2018 Kentucky Derby and will be hosting an informational meeting at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 18, at its facility at 2603 N. Rodgers Ave.

Highlights for the trip include but are not limited to visiting sites such as reserved seats at The Kentucky Derby, Derby Day Riverboat Race, Pegasus Parade, “Off to the Races” Dinner Party with Kentucky Derby Museum, Undulata Horse Farms, Jeptha Creed Craft Bourbon Distillery, Lunch at Claudia Sanders & Derby Hat Boutique, Louisville Mega Caverns Tour, Louisville Slugger Museum and more. The price is $1,899 per person for a double room. Other options are available.

The SSP Travel Program takes groups of anyone ages 21+ on various trips ranging from area day trips to extended trips overseas including their most recent Holland Tulips & Rhine River Castles Riverboat Cruise this spring. Senior Services Plus travel program travels around the state, around the country, and around the world.
