Osteopath joins Belleville Family Health Center
BELLEVILLE – Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation has announced that Alex LaBounty, DO has joined Belleville Family Health Center, 180 S. Third St. in Belleville as a physician in its Family Health department.
LaBounty provides preventative care services for patients of all ages and offers treatment for both acute and chronic health conditions. He also has special interests in both sports medicine and integrative medicine.
“I am a firm believer in preventative medicine,” he said. “Good heath involves the whole person – mind, body and spirit. If you neglect any of those areas, you will start to have issues. By building relationships with each of my patients, we can work together so that they can enjoy a healthier life over the long term.”
LaBounty received his Doctorate in Osteopathy from UNTHSC Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth and performed his residency in family medicine through Saint Louis University.
