CENTREVILLE — Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation recently hired Sharon Jameson as a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for its Behavioral Health team at Centreville Health Center (formerly Mother & Child Center), 6000 Bond Ave.
Jameson (left) manages mental health care for patients of all ages by offering individualized, comprehensive and holistic treatment and recovery plans.
“My goal is to partner with my patients to create the right plan that will help them achieve their optimal health and wellness. That means listening to what the patients are saying – not just telling them what would be best for their recovery.”
Prior to joining Centreville Health Center, Jameson served as a Registered Nurse at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, Tenn., and as a Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens pharmacies in Knoxville and Lenoir City, Tenn. Jameson earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tennessee.
Jameson is accepting new patients. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (618) 332-2083.
Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation operates a network of 29 health centers across nine counties with more than 150 medical providers who deliver family and adult services.
