BELLEVILLE – HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Gift shop recently presented HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Foundation with a check for $37,443 from the proceeds of the past fiscal year.
David Garris, director of philanthropy for St. Elizabeth’s Foundation, said: “These dollars, like all donations to St. Elizabeth’s Foundation will be utilized to enhance patient care for all that we serve.”
In January 2014, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital assumed full responsibility for management of the gift shop, which was previously managed by an outside company. The change now allows all net proceeds to be reinvested into the organization by donations to the St. Elizabeth’s Foundation.
“The Gift Shop transition has been extremely successful,” said Natalie Jablonski, executive director of Mission Integration and Environment of Care at St. Elizabeth’s. “I would like to thank the colleagues, visitors, and members of the community who have made us their primary destination for unique gifts.”
