Senior Services Plus hosting talk on SilverSneakers coverage

ALTON – A Humana insurance representative will visit Senior Services Plus on Sept. 10 to discuss the SilverSneakers program and insurance applicability.

Larry Ervin will be on site to speak with consumers about the program, which can be available with some Medicare Supplemental Insurances. The SilverSneakers Fitness program helps older adults take greater control of their health through physical activity and events.

The “SilverSneakers Coffee Chat” will take place from 10 to 11 a.m.

The presentation will help individuals find out who is qualified for the program and the benefits that may be available. The information is free to the public. Refreshments will be provided.

At Senior Services Plus, SilverSneakers members also qualify for a free Wellness Center membership.
