Miner’s Theatre to benefit from Thrivent Financial option

From Illinois Business Journal news services

The Miner’s Institute Foundation has been chosen to participate in Thrivent Financial’s Thrivent Choice program.

By directing Choice Dollars, eligible Thrivent members can recommend which nonprofit organizations they feel should receive charitable grant funding from Thrivent.

“The Foundation has already been directed dollars from three different Thrivent members. We are so grateful for the support and will use Thrivent Choice grant funding to directly support the renovation and reopening of Miner’s Theatre,” Foundation President Leah Joyce said.

“Seeing our members have a say about how charitable dollars are given in their communities is so rewarding,” said Dustin Eckhardt, a financial consultant serving the Metro East. “Thrivent Choice is one of many outreach programs available from Thrivent Financial designed to help strengthen communities and change lives.”

Thrivent Financial describes itself as a financial services organization that helps Christians be wise with money and live generously. To learn more about Thrivent Choice, visit Thrivent.com/thriventchoice or contact Eckhardt at (618) 233-3900 or Dustin.Eckhardt@Thrivent.com.
