Bank of Edwardsville center manager appointed to Future Leaders board

O’FALLON – Kevin Welch, assistant vice president and O’Fallon Center manager with The Bank of Edwardsville, was recently appointed to the Illinois Bankers Association Future Leaders Alliance Board by IBA President and Chief Executive Officer Linda Koch.

welch kevinAs a board member, Welch is charged with developing and overseeing the foundation of the Future Leaders Alliance program – a membership program dedicated to the leadership development of promising leaders in the Illinois banking industry through highly engaging educational events, increasing awareness and involvement in the legislative process, creating opportunities for community service and relationship building.

The IBA calls itself the voice of the Illinois banking industry and is a full-service trade association dedicated to creating a positive business climate that benefits the entire banking industry and the communities they serve. Founded in 1891, the IBA brings together state and national banks and savings banks that together employ well over 100,000 people in nearly 5,000 offices from the smallest community bank in the state to the largest national bank in the country. The Bank of Edwardsville is a locally-owned community bank in the metro St. Louis area with 19 locations in Illinois and Missouri.
