Helmkamp Construction launches $10,000 matching campaign to benefit Community Hope Center
Helmkamp Construction is inviting the community to help make twice the impact this summer through its charitable matching campaign benefiting the Community Hope Center.
Now through the conclusion of the campaign, Helmkamp will match the first $10,000 donated, turning community generosity into a total of $20,000 to support the Community Hope Center’s mission of providing food, clothing, and other essential services to individuals and families throughout the River Bend region.
“Our company has always believed that building relationships extends beyond the projects we construct,” said Kyle Ogden, president of Helmkamp Construction. “This matching campaign is an opportunity for our employees, clients, industry partners and neighbors to come together and strengthen our community. Every dollar donated goes twice as far, to build hope together.”
This year’s campaign also introduces Swing for a Cause, a special fundraising event in partnership with the Gateway Grizzlies on Thursday, July 30, when the Grizzlies host the Windy City ThunderBolts.
Community members and local businesses can support the campaign in several ways:
- Make a monetary donation that will be matched by Helmkamp.
- Sponsor the Swing for a Cause game through inning sponsorships, concourse table sponsorships or raffle basket donations, with a portion of every sponsorship qualifying for Helmkamp’s matching contribution.
- Attend the July 30 game by purchasing special event tickets, with a portion of every ticket benefiting the Community Hope Center and qualifying for Helmkamp’s matching contribution.
“We’re grateful to Helmkamp for once again investing in our mission and encouraging others to join them,” said Ann Crane, Community Hope Center executive director. “This campaign helps provide hope for families facing difficult circumstances while reminding them that their community stands beside them.”
