Orr introduced as CNO, Lederle as ER manager, at Gateway Regional Medical Center
Zachary Orr, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP, CCRN, CVRN-BC
Gateway Regional Medical Center recently introduced Zachary Orr, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP, CCRN, CVRN-BC, as its chief nursing officer (CNO).
Orr began his nursing career in 2017 in the emergency room before quickly advancing to ER team leader. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he transitioned to the Trauma ICU, providing critical care during unprecedented times. In 2020, Orr became a nurse practitioner, continuing his focus on critical care. Orr joined the Gateway team in 2023 as a Critical Care nurse practitioner. This leadership role led to his promotion as chief advanced practice officer, and he now steps into the role of CNO.
The official announcement notes: “Orr brings valuable hands-on experience, a deep dedication to patient care and a genuine passion for healthcare that will greatly benefit Gateway Regional and its patients.”
Outside of work, Orr enjoys spending time with his partner. Together they enjoy playing pickleball as well as other outdoor activities.
Mindy Lederle, MSN, RN
Mindy Lederle, MSN, RN was also recently welcomed as the new Emergency Room manager at Gateway Regional Medical Center.
With 26 years of nursing experience, including roles as an ED nurse, house supervisor, nurse manager and patient safety specialist, Lederle brings strong leadership and a deep commitment to patient care to the position.
Lederle holds an MSN with a focus on Executive Leadership and is dedicated to “fostering teamwork, advancing patient safety, and supporting staff growth,” an official statement notes.
Outside of work, Lederle enjoys spending time with her husband of 20 years who is a police officer as well as together with their 16-year-old son. The family enjoys camping, hiking, fishing and visiting national parks.
