State Senator Erica Harriss (R-56th-Glen Carbon) and state Senator Jil Tracy (R-50th-Quincy) have teamed up with the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office to host an ICASH event from 12 Noon to 4 p.m. on Monday, May 4 at the Mississippi Valley Library District location (408 West Main Street, Collinsville, IL 62234).
Harriss and the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office are further partnering to host an ICASH event from 12 Noon to 4 p.m. on Monday, May 11 at the Hayner Public Library at Alton Square Mall (132 Alton Square, Alton, IL 62002).
Constituents are encouraged to stop by these events to check if they are owed unclaimed property and receive assistance filing a claim.
ICASH events help residents across Illinois locate and reclaim unclaimed property. Unclaimed property can include everything from forgotten bank accounts and uncashed checks to insurance payments, stocks, and even the contents of safe deposit boxes.
Since 2015, more than $2 billion in assets have been returned to Illinoisans.
