Caritas Family Solutions selected for Ameren ‘Power Play Goals for Kids’ program
The winning organization will receive $500 for every St. Louis Blues power play goal scored during the 2025–2026 NHL season
Caritas Family Solutions has been selected as one of four nonprofit organizations to participate in the Ameren Power Play Goals for Kids program, an annual initiative that donates to local children’s charities to help kids reach their goals.
Throughout the 2025–2026 NHL season, Ameren will donate $500 every time the St. Louis Blues score a power play goal. At the end of the regular season, all funds raised will be donated to the organization that receives the most fan votes. Each of the remaining organizations will also receive a $1,000 contribution.
“We are honored to be chosen for the Power Play Goals for Kids program,” said Caritas Family Solutions CEO Gary Huelsmann. “With more than 6,500 individuals relying on our services each year, this program will help support the thousands of children and families we serve every day. Each vote for Caritas will help us continue to provide services to ensure that every child in our care has the opportunity to thrive and live a fulfilled life. We’re grateful to Ameren and the St. Louis Blues for giving our community such a simple, powerful way to make a difference for people who need it the most.”
As of Dec. 2, the St. Louis Blues have scored 14 power play goals, bringing the current donation total to $7,000.
From Dec. 1, 2025, through Jan. 31, 2026, fans can learn more and vote once per day at www.Ameren.com/Blues.
