Gottman brings a unique blend of creativity, discipline and real-world experience to her legal practice, according to the official announcement. Before becoming an attorney, she built a multifaceted career in the arts, performing throughout the Midwest as an opera singer, actor and voice actor. Her professional experience also includes roles as a receptionist, legal assistant and administrative assistant to a general partner at Edward Jones, which inspired her to pursue a career in law.
Gottman earned her juris doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law, where she received the Dean’s Scholarship and the Alvin A. Wolff Jr. Client Counseling Award for outstanding advocacy and client relations. She is also a member of Phi Delta Phi, the international legal honor society, and Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit honor society recognizing academic excellence, leadership and service.
At MM&R, Gottman focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation, bringing her problem-solving skills and thoughtful approach to complex legal issues.
She is licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Illinois.
