Golf Galaxy hosting Million Dollar Hole-in-One Challenge through May 31
From April 6 through May 31, the Golf Galaxy and DICK’S House of Sport brands are hosting the Million Dollar Hole-in-One Challenge, a competition that offers golfers of all skill levels the chance to win a share of a $1,000,000 prize by hitting a hole-in-one on an in-store simulator.
In the St. Louis Metro East region, that includes the Golf Galaxy location in Fairview Heights (6617 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208).
To enter in the competition, all you have to do is visit your local Golf Galaxy or DICK’S House of Sport during the competition dates and tell a store associate you would like to take part. Limits are to one entry per day, with one entry allowing for three swings.
Open to the public, this challenge is not just for the seasoned pros but also for casual players, making it an inclusive and exhilarating challenge for everyone.

- Who: Any consumer is open to participate in the challenge
- When: The challenge is open from April 6, 2025 – May 31, 2025
- What: Consumers can enter to win the $1 Million Hole-in-One Challenge by simply visiting a Golf Galaxy or DICK’S House of Sport location and signing up for a free Scorecard account. Participants must see a store associate for details. There is no purchase necessary to enter the challenge.
- Prize: Any consumer who can score a hole-in-one will win $1,000,000. *If multiple players win, the $1,000,000 prize will be split amongst all winners.
I went to my local Dick’s Sporting Goods in Chico, CA and they are not participating in the hole in one challenge. What locations in California are doing the challenge?
The Golf Galaxy $1,000,000 Hole-in-One Challenge is open only to legal residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and reside within the trading area of a Golf Galaxy, Golf Galaxy Performance Center, or DICK’S House of Sport retail store. From my online research, it looks like California only has Golf Galaxy stores. The Golf Galaxy stores in California include locations in Dublin, Pasadena, Pleasant Hill, Redlands, Roseville, San Diego, San Jose and Upland.
