Next session of the Sierra Club’s speaker series is April 8 in Alton

The Sierra Club’s local chapter invites readers to join them for their April Sierra Club speaker series featuring TreeHouse Wildlife Center. The session will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8 at the Old Bakery Beer Company in Alton (400 Landmarks Blvd.).

Attendees can arrive early at 5:30 p.m. and join in for dinner as well.

Educational animals will be on-site, and attendees can also learn about TreeHouse Wildlife Center’s summer internships and a new job opening. Attendees can further find out how to help support their mission and find out all the details about TreeHouse’s annual Baby Shower on Saturday, April 26.

TreeHouse Wildlife Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife and the educational promotion of environmental stewardship and awareness. Established in 1979, TreeHouse has been serving the southwestern Illinois community for over 40 years as a professional resource for those who encounter a wild animal in need.
