SLCL introduces eMedia service at airport, Metro Transit, Schnucks, St. Louis county offices

St. Louis County Library launched a new eMedia service on June 20, 2024. ePop Up Library gives users immediate access to thousands of eBooks and audiobooks by simply scanning a QR code. A library card is not required to use the service. ePop Up Library will be available at select Bi-State locations, St. Louis County government offices, Schnucks stores and throughout St. Louis Lambert International Airport.

A press conference about ePop Up Library was held at 10 a.m. June 20 at  St. Louis Lambert International Airport, Terminal 1, lower level on the Aero Event Stage to announce and officially launch the new service. Speakers scheduled as a part of the event included St. Louis County Executive Dr. Sam Page, St. Louis County Library Director & CEO Kristen Sorth, STL Airport Director & CEO Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, Metro Transit Chief Operating Officer Charles Stewart and Schnucks Director of Community Engagement and Customer Care Schron Jackson.
