First Mid Bank & Trust names Bruce Dyck as St. Louis regional community bank president

First Mid Bank & Trust has recently welcomed Bruce Dyck as regional community bank president.
Dyck will be responsible for business development, community engagement initiatives, and supporting and strengthening lending relationships in First Mid’s St. Louis region.
With over 27 years of experience in the banking industry in St. Louis, Dyck will play a crucial role in driving the growth and development of the bank’s operations in the region. He brings a deep understanding of local market dynamics and a passion for delivering exceptional banking solutions, making him well-equipped to lead the bank to new heights of success.

Before joining First Mid, Dyck served almost five years as senior vice president at Busey Bank. Prior to that, he held a variety of leadership roles for several other financial institutions including regional president at Midwest BankCentre, commercial relationship manager at PNC Bank, and senior lending officer at Reliance Bank.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Dyck completed his MBA from Lindenwood University in St. Louis. He demonstrates a deep commitment to community engagement, devoting his time to various volunteer organizations such as St. Patrick’s Center, St. Peter’s Spirit youth hockey, and Operation Food Search.
