The 2021 season of the Alton Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market will be in the parking lot at the corner of Landmarks Boulevard and Henry Street in Downtown Alton. The market will be in session, rain or shine, every Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until noon through Oct 16.

The Land of Goshen Community Market will open for its 25th season in Downtown Edwardsville this Saturday on St. Louis Street, alongside the Madison County Courthouse.

In Litchfield, the Litchfield Pickers Market will reopen for the first time since 2019, starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday, May 9. The portable vintage and antique market will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Downtown Litchfield (400 N. State St.).

In Alton, live entertainment, artist demonstrations and other special activities have been scheduled every week. To receive reminders for what produce is in season as well as upcoming entertainment and activities, follow the page: Facebook.com/AltonFarmersMarket.

This year marks the 29th season of the Alton Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market, organized by Alton Main Street as part of the organization’s efforts to revitalize the Downtown Alton historic district.

The Litchfield Pickers Market is the largest open-air pickers market in the area. It specializes in antiques, collectibles, vintage items, and refurbished items. The opening on May 9 celebrates the launching of the sixth season after a one-year hiatus.

Each month the Litchfield Pickers Market welcomes musicians to perform at the Carnegie Park stage. During the May 9th market, the Mound City Slickers will kick off the day and perform live from 9 to 11:30 a.m., followed by B & B Strings from noon to 3 p.m.

Food vendors and their locations are listed at the Tourism Information booth as well as on the Litchfield Pickers website : http://visitlitchfield.com/events/litchfieldpickersmarket/.
