Commerce Bank recently launched its new CONNECT app, what it calls a consumer banking experience that allows customers to engage one-one-one with a Commerce banker of their choosing, right from their smartphone.
Commerce says it is the first bank in the region it serves to offer this unique solution connecting customers to their very own banker.
Commerce Bank CONNECT goes beyond traditional banking by offering customers a “banker in their pocket” – not an automated bot, but a real, live person who can provide personalized guidance and advice.
After downloading the CONNECT app, customers can select a banker of their choosing, by specialty, location or whatever best fits the customer’s financial needs. Customers are able to message their banker anytime, anywhere to ask questions and get answers. The ability to pick your banker – the same banker customers will engage with every time they use the app – to meet individualized needs is a first-of-its kind feature for this solution. With a virtual ‘banker in their pocket,’ customers can ask questions, select services and more. Customer information is authenticated and secure.
“Customer needs and preferences are continuously evolving, and Commerce remains committed to meeting those needs,” said Patty Kellerhals, executive vice president, director of Retail Banking at Commerce. “Our focus continues to be on providing high-touch service, regardless of whether that happens in-person or digitally. CONNECT complements Commerce Bank’s highly rated mobile banking app and will allow us to increasingly serve customers at the intersection of human touch and technology.”
Migration to digital services has accelerated during the pandemic and enhancing customer engagement with creative solutions is key. Commerce’s CONNECT app provides access to that human connection in a digital environment. Customer feedback in the early stages has been overwhelmingly positive and reflective of what it is they value most – personalization, convenience and connectedness.
