Korte Rec Center closed temporarily after COVID-19 case
The Korte Recreation Center in Highland has been closed after a recent coronavirus case, the facility announced midday Monday on its Facebook page.
“It is with deep regret that Highland must close the Korte Recreation Center, immediately until Friday, July 17, 2020, after learning of a positive test of COVID-19 was in our facility. Therefore, we will be mandated to sterilize the entire facility and recommend that all guests that visited the Korte Recreation in the week of July 6 – 10 self-monitor for symptoms and take proper precautions. The facility at 1 Nagel Drive in Highland has an indoor pool, fitness center, gymnasium, indoor walking track, concession area and daycare. It is run by the Highland Parks and Recreation Department.
