Allegiant adds service to Savannah from MidAmerica

Allegiant today announces a new nonstop air route to Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport from MidAmerica St. Louis Airport in Mascoutah beginning June 6.

The company is offering one-way fares on the new route as low as $55 on flights purchased by Jan. 16, travel by Aug. 15, 2020.

“We are thrilled to offer area travelers with this new ultra-low-cost, convenient route,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “We know area travelers will enjoy the historic charm of Savannah and the beaches of Hilton Head.”

The new seasonal route via MidAmerica St. Louis Airport (BLV) will operate twice weekly. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.

“The wonderful partnership between MidAmerica Airport and Allegiant continues to flourish as indicated by the plans for this newest route in addition to the 10 great destinations already served,” noted St. Clair County Board Chairman Mark Kern. “Giving people across the region access to hassle-free, affordable, nonstop flights to the popular tourist spots of Savannah, Ga., and nearby Hilton Head, S.C., will be one more reason people choose to fly via MidAmerica and will contribute to the continuing growth in passenger traffic here.”

Allegiant said offers an option for savings on rental cars and hotels.
