St. Louis Export Challenge offering $60,000 to companies in metro area
Applicants have until Aug. 9 to try for a share of $60,000 in cash prizes available in the 2017 St. Louis Export Challenge.
The project is a partnership among St. Louis-based Arch Grants, World Trade Center St. Louis, and St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, and it is made possible with funding from JPMorgan Chase.
Eligible companies include all for-profit companies in the St. Louis Metro Area, including in Illinois, and currently generating less than $10 million annually.
Winners will be announced at the Growing Global event on Sept. 22.
Beyond the prize money, each of the selected winners will receive one-on-one expert mentor support, foreign market research services, and the option to accept a full paid scholarship in the six-month online Chancellor’s Certificate in International Trade program with the University of Missouri St. Louis.
All eligible companies, including software development companies, selling products or services to customers outside of the United States will be considered.
