Illinois State Police to hold ‘Meet the Employer’ workshop

COLLINSVILLE – Officials with the Illinois State Police will hold a “Meet the Employer” workshop on Tuesday, July 18, at the Illinois Department of Employment Security, 1100 Eastport Plaza Drive, Collinsville.

The event will run from 9 to 11 a.m. and allow individuals an opportunity to learn about the qualifications for becoming an Illinois state trooper. Veterans who have been honorably discharged and awarded an Afghan or Iraqi Campaign medal automatically  qualify to apply with the ISP.
