Faccin’s service honored by Wood River Masons

WOOD RIVER – Madison County Auditor Rick Faccin was recently presented the Community Builder Award by the Wood River Masons.

John Piel, Master of the Wood River Masonic Lodge, said the decision to honor Faccin came from the Auditor’s decades of service to Madison County, both in his professional and personal life.

“When considering recipients of the Community Builder Award, we look for someone who helps the community both with their job and in other ways. Mr. Faccin has effectively served the people of Madison County for many years and has given hours of his time to support numerous charitable activities,” Piel said.

Piel noted Faccin’s service to the community and to the Wood River Masonic Lodge.

“Not only has he served the Wood River community in various ways, Mr. Faccin has been supporting our Lodge for many years. We are pleased to give him this honor.”

Madison County Chairman Alan J. Dunstan said the award exemplifies Faccin’s long-standing dedication to community service.
“For decades, Rick Faccin has committed himself to serving the people of Madison County. He is a dedicated professional who is also committed to volunteerism and humanitarian work. Rick is an excellent representative of the many dedicated public servants in Madison County,” Dunstan said.

Faccin said the honor is met with much appreciation and gratitude.

“I am very grateful to have received this award,” Faccin said. “Knowing that your contributions to your community are recognized is an honor, and I consider myself very lucky to serve Madison County through my position as County Auditor and through my personal efforts. It is a joy to work for the greater good of Madison County.”
