Metro transit says it will provide extra MetroLink service on Tuesday night, May 3, as sports fans converge on downtown St. Louis for the second round of the National Hockey League Stanley Cup Playoffs at the Scottrade Center and evening baseball action at Busch Stadium.
Sports fans can park at any of the 21 free Park-Ride lots located at MetroLink stations in both Missouri and Illinois, and purchase a round-trip MetroLink ticket to ride downtown to avoid parking fees and sitting in traffic.
MetroBus is another option for getting to downtown St. Louis this week. Fans can catch the No. 40 Broadway or No. 99 Downtown Trolley, which both have stops near Busch Stadium, or ride on one of 18 MetroBus routes to the Union Station MetroLink Station, located just west of the Scottrade Center.
To plan your trip to these downtown sporting events, download the Metro On The Go App to your mobile device, use the Trip Planner on metrostlouis.org or contact Metro Transit Information at (314) 231-2345 or (618) 271-2345, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
