Edwardsville resident joins HOK as project manager

ST. LOUIS – Barbara Anderson, an Edwardsville resident, has joined HOK as a project manager.

anderson barbIn her new role, Anderson (left) will assist on multiple projects, initially working with the health care and interiors teams. Anderson brings more than 25 years of experience in a wide variety of project types including municipal, federal, recreational, educational, health care, correctional, commercial and hospitality.

She currently serves on the board for the St. Louis chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and has been involved with the U.S. Green Building Council since 2009, serving on the 2014-2015 Missouri Gateway Chapter board.

Prior to joining HOK, Anderson was the manager of the building and sites group at Oates Associates. As a member of the firm’s board of directors, Anderson was responsible for the management and oversight of architects, civil engineers and structural engineers, as well as all aspects of architectural projects. She earned her degree in architectural studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
