From Illinois Business Journal news services
CHICAGO – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Secretary Bryan Schneider says the agency’s new website is part of efforts to increase transparency and provide a more responsive regulatory experience.
The updated website offers a mobile-friendly, intuitive design to provide easier access to the department’s online services, according to Schneider.
“In a world where e-government and digital platforms have become commonplace, it is imperative that our state’s regulatory agency update its outdated technology,” said Schneider. “With the new website, our goal is to deliver a customer-oriented, functional experience with a clean, modernized and mobile-friendly layout. The new site will provide regulated professionals, businesses, financial institutions, and consumers easy access to a number of streamlined services.”
Updated services include:
• “easy-access buttons” to the highest traffic pages
• Direct tabs to the individual divisions
• A visible search tool and an updated ‘contact us’ page
• Modernized renewal and application pages for licensed professionals, and an updated “file a complaint” section
The new website is at www.idfpr.com.
