Eastbound lanes completed on New Chain of Rocks Bridge

The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced the opening of the eastbound lanes of the New Chain of Rocks Canal Bridge near Granite City.

Traffic will be diverted from the existing bridge onto the new bridge by 5:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 13, weather permitting, IDOT said.
