BELLEVILLE – U.S. Congressman Bill Enyart will play host to a second teletown hall on Tuesday, July 1, due to overwhelming response from June’s meeting.

All constituents from the 12th Congressional District in Illinois are invited to call into the teletown hall meeting. The call begins at 6:45 p.m., but constituents are urged to call in a few minutes early.

Enyart, D-Belleville, will discuss his personal inquiries into the VA administration’s healthcare issues, the FY2014 defense budget and its effect on Southern Illinois, his new workforce investment and jobs bill, among others. Constituents are encouraged to ask the congressman questions directly during the meeting.

“We had an overwhelming response to the teletown hall in June,” said Enyart. “It simply goes to show the high level of interest and engagement Southern Illinoisans have with their government.”

Constituents interested in joining the call can dial 1 (877) 229-8493 and when prompted, enter ID code 112868. For more information, visit enyart.house.gov.

Enyart serves as the co-chair of the Coal Caucus, and sits on the House Armed Services and House Agriculture Committees in the U.S. House of Representatives.
