What the governor made – and how much he paid in taxes

CHICAGO – Gov. Pat Quinn today released his 2013 federal and state income tax returns.

In addition to his salary of $161,962.98, Quinn reported a taxable refund of $1,508.

Quinn paid $29,407.59 in federal income tax and $7,782 in state income tax in 2013. He also paid $3,229 in property taxes on his home on the West Side of Chicago.

He donated $9,485 to charity.
