Climate Crisis and Solutions

Dear Editor:

   Thank you for printing Ron Trimmer’s op-ed about the climate crisis and climate solutions.
   Mr. Trimmer is correct. We can’t have both coal and food. Mother Nature won’t let us. The time to switch to renewable energy is now. A revenue neutral carbon tax will serve as the best first step in starting that transition.
   I look forward to congressional leadership on this most critical of issues, in particular from U.S. Rep. Bill Enyart. Leadership in Congress on this issue will require courage only Enyart can muster.
