Stormwater Erosion Specialties (SES) has hired Scott Hutson to expand the company’s ability to serve outdoor needs of homeowner associations, condominiums, commercial property owners, and municipalities throughout the entire St. Louis region.
In his new role, Hutson will help develop proactive maintenance plans for stormwater basins, shorelines, drainage areas, native plantings, and other outdoor spaces. He will also assist clients in identifying maintenance priorities and setting up ongoing service packages to protect property and control long-term costs.
“Scott brings a unique combination of landscaping, erosion control, and customer service experience that will help our clients stay ahead of erosion challenges,” said John Whitney, owner of SES.
Hutson has 15 years’ experience in landscaping, horticulture, and property stewardship. He has worked closely with property managers, HOA boards, commercial property owners, and community leaders to maintain attractive, functional outdoor environments while addressing issues before they become larger problems.
Prior to joining SES, Hutson developed expertise in turf management, landscape design, native prairie restoration, and turf conversions. His background also includes business development and operational leadership roles within the landscape industry.
