FreightWeekSTL 2026 set for week of June 8; registration now open

Set for June 8 through 12, the ninth annual event will feature innovations, investments and trends shaping global supply chains

FreightWeekSTL is set for June 8 through 12, with registration now open for the various sessions of this leading freight and logistics event.

Being hosted by the St. Louis Regional Freightway for the ninth consecutive year, the hybrid conference will feature a variety of tours, engaging panel discussions and insightful one-on-one interviews that will highlight innovations, infrastructure improvements and trends impacting global freight movement and reinforce how the St. Louis region continues to strengthen its position as a world-class logistics hub.

“For almost a decade, FreightWeekSTL has helped to showcase people, projects and policies that are powering global freight movement while focusing attention on the significant role the St. Louis region plays at the nexus of America’s freight network,” said Mary Lamie. “This year’s lineup builds on that tradition, offering meaningful insight into how freight moves—and how it can move better.”

Lamie is the executive vice president of Multimodal Enterprises for Bi-State Development, which operates the St. Louis Regional Freightway as one of its enterprises.

While some of the sessions will be held virtually, this year’s conference will have several opportunities for attendees to connect in-person.

The 2026 Freight Summit on June 10, being held on a riverboat docked on the St. Louis Riverfront beneath the Gateway Arch, will feature a keynote discussion with Tracy Zea, president and CEO of Waterways Council Inc., titled Investing in our Inland Waterways: Strengthening Freight Competitiveness.

Another highlight of the Summit is the release of the 2027 Priority Projects List, a valuable tool used to advocate for support and funding for critical infrastructure improvements that strengthen the St. Louis region’s freight network.

During Reimagining Rail: Innovation on the Tracks, attendees will tour Intramotev’s headquarters and production facility in St. Louis. Intramotev CEO Tim Luchini will conduct a demo showing one of the company’s autonomous rail vehicles in motion and join Lamie for an interview to share details regarding Intramotev’s latest milestones and discuss how their innovations can improve efficiency, safety and flexibility for the rail industry.

Another highlight of FreightWeekSTL is the Ag Coast of America Riverboat Cruise, hosted by the St. Louis Regional Freightway. The popular cruise will highlight infrastructure assets that position the St. Louis region as a thriving freight and logistics hub with global access. Industry representatives will also be on board to provide insight into the tremendous career opportunities available in the freight, logistics and transportation industries.

New for this year are a couple of private events being coordinated for targeted groups:

  • FreightWeekSTL 2026 features the unique opportunity for state legislators and their staffers to tour Ingram’s terminal facilities within the Ag Coast of America and visit the Mel Price Lock and Dam. This tour, hosted by Ingram, Waterways Council Inc., and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will enable participants to gain a better understanding of the value of the inland waterways, the businesses that operate on them and their interconnectivity with other modes of freight transportation.
  • Educators visiting St. Louis as part of the Show-Me Careers conference hosted by the Missouri Chamber of Chamber of Commerce will have the chance to tour St. Louis Downtown Airport and learn about career opportunities at Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., the airport’s largest tenant. They will also be introduced to classroom-ready resources like AeroSTL.org to help connect students to real-world career opportunities.

Several virtual sessions will round out the agenda for FreightWeekSTL, focusing on topics ranging from venture capital for early-stage logistics firms to the collaboration between private industry and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to foster the movement of freight.

Specific topics will include:

  • Funding the Next Generation of Supply Chain Innovation
  • Global Supply Chains in a Turbulent World
  • Building the Waterways Workforce
  • Behind the Barges: How the Mississippi River Stays Open for Commerce
  • Forces Shaping Today’s Ag Markets and Freight Movement
  • Building a Regional Freight Rail Strategy: Process, Data and Collaboration
  • Digital release of the 2026 Industrial Real Estate Market Report

The conference will close out with St. Louis Regional Freightway’s First Decade: A Top 10 Countdown, an exciting virtual session celebrating the 10th anniversary of the official launch of the St. Louis Regional Freightway and its key accomplishments over the past decade.

“Our region’s success in freight and logistics is built on partnerships and collaboration, and FreightWeekSTL is where those connections come together,” said Lamie. “We believe the depth and diversity of this year’s programming will make FreightWeekSTL 2026 one of the most valuable conferences we’ve hosted.”
