United Way of Greater St. Louis activates ‘Unite With Us Days’
United Way of Greater St. Louis (UWGSL) is bringing the region together through Unite With Us Days, a community-wide volunteer initiative that invites individuals, families, and groups to give their time in support of local nonprofits.
This extended series of days of service mobilizes thousands of volunteers across the bi‑state region to strengthen neighborhoods, support charitable organizations, and make a meaningful difference for neighbors in need.
Unite With Us Days offers accessible, hands-on opportunities for people of all ages to get involved and serve alongside others who care about the community. By volunteering time and talents, participants directly support nonprofit partners throughout Missouri and Illinois while helping address critical local needs.
Registration for Unite With Us Days opened to the public on Feb. 18, 2026, with volunteer projects to take place from April 10 through April 24.
Individuals and families are encouraged to sign up for volunteer projects online at www.stlvolunteer.org/unite through the UWGSL Volunteer Center.
Volunteer opportunities are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and hundreds of projects are available across the region, with options appropriate for volunteers ages five and up.
Volunteer projects will benefit nonprofit partner agencies throughout Missouri and Illinois and address a wide range of community needs. Opportunities include sorting and packaging food, completing community cleanup projects such as yard work and garden maintenance, organizing donated clothing and supplies, and more—each designed to make an immediate, tangible impact.
“Unite With Us Days adds an exciting new dimension to a volunteer initiative that has already made a meaningful difference in our region,” said Michelle Tucker, president and CEO of United Way of Greater St. Louis. “Our community has shown an incredible willingness to step up and serve. By expanding Unite With Us Days, we’re creating more opportunities for neighbors to come together, give their time, and support the local organizations that help our region thrive.”
Over the past two years, Unite With Us Day volunteers have helped support nonprofit organizations serving more than 12,500 individuals across the St. Louis region. United Way of Greater St. Louis continues to build on that momentum by connecting people with meaningful ways to give back and strengthen the community.
