IMPACT Strategies completes expansion of BJC Outpatient Center in Edwardsville

IMPACT Strategies Inc. has announced the completion of a major expansion to the existing BJC Outpatient Center in Edwardsville, Ill.
This project is located at the intersection of Troy Road and Governors Parkway in Edwardsville. IMPACT Strategies served as the Design-Builder for the remodeling of the existing vacant shell space between the previous BJC Outpatient Center and Kohl’s.
The 23,000-square-foot expansion project provides high-quality healthcare services including four gastrointestinal procedure rooms, blood/draw lab, MRI, CT Scan, X-ray, mammography machine, twelve additional exam rooms in the existing Outpatient Center and new non-oncology infusion suite with four infusion bays.
With an accelerated project timeline, the use of prefabricated head walls that included electrical and medical gas rough-ins were an innovative strategy to create maximum efficiencies to keep the project moving in a timely manner. These headwalls were constructed off-site, then delivered to the site as a complete wall panel.
With the support of an experienced team of IMPACT professionals along with its subcontractor partners, the project was delivered ahead of schedule and kept under budget.
“Engaging early in the process enabled us to provide support throughout the planning stages and to serve as a knowledgeable resource during the design development and pre-construction phases. This approach is just one of the many ways we enhance the value of a project,” stated Mark Hinrichs, president of IMPACT Strategies.
The expansion of the BJC Outpatient Center in Edwardsville adds to the list of successful projects that IMPACT Strategies continues to complete with BJC Healthcare.
