Contegra completes new Metro East office/distribution center to house BHMG Engineers, more

Facility is 75,000 square feet, with BHMG leasing 25,000SF and quintupling its Metro East presence

BHMG Engineers is settling into its new Metro East office in Collinsville, Ill.  The St. Louis area utility engineering firm is leasing 25,000 square feet at Eastport Commerce Center, a 75,000-square-foot office/distribution facility developed by a partnership led by Contegra Construction Co. The new office replaces BHMG’s existing 5,000-square-foot office at 1902 Vandalia St. in Collinsville. Contegra also managed the design and construction.

Located on a 9.5-acre site at the intersection of Eastport Plaza Dr. and Fairmont Avenue, the building capitalizes on its proximity to the I-255/I-55 interchange. It is constructed of tilt-up concrete panels with a decorative brick inlay and accented with storefront windows. It features a 28-foot clear height, four dock doors with three drive-in doors, high bay LED lighting and 160 parking spaces. Designed with flexibility in mind, the building can host up to three separately demised tenant spaces, each with their own building access.

Founded in 1972, BHMG Engineers is a utility-focused engineering and consulting services firm serving electric companies, municipalities, and businesses with large energy needs. Learn more at www.bhmg.com.
