HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital celebrating ARCH 45th anniversary with Sept. 3 ‘Party on the Pad’

Celebrating its partner ARCH Air Medical and their 45 years of providing lifesaving air medicine to the community, HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital is hosting a “Party on the Pad” from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

HSHS Rescue Flight is partnering with HSHS St. Joseph’s Emergency Department, Region 4 EMS and Highland Fire Department for a night of food, games and fun activities. Families are invited for hamburgers and pork burgers courtesy of HSHS Rescue Flight, a “Stop the Bleed” presentation from Region 4 EMS and view a Highland Fire Department fire engine up close.

The Party on the Pad location will be at St. Joseph’s Hospital Highland in the parking lot immediately west of the helicopter pad and in the grassy area west of the parking lot.

HSHS Rescue Flight, an advanced critical care air medical service owned and operated by Air Methods, is part of the ARCH Air Medical program.

“We are so thankful for our highly trained flight crews and the endless support that they have shown our community over the last 45 years,” said Teresa Cornelius, chief administrative officer of St. Joseph’s Hospital. “This event is a great way for the community to thank their Rescue One team and celebrate all of their accomplishments.”
