Eckert’s Farm to host ‘Sip & Savor’ Festival on Feb. 28 in Belleville

Featuring Eckert’s Hard Cider, local vendors from across the metro area, tastings, demonstrations, cidery tours, and more

Eckert’s Farm in Belleville (951 S Green Mt Rd, Belleville, IL 62220), will hosts its Sip & Savor Festival on Saturday, Feb. 28.

Held at the Belleville Country Store, the Sip & Savor Festival invites guests to experience Midwest food and beverage culture in one afternoon at Eckert’s Country Store. Attendees can enjoy complimentary samples of wines, spirits, and Eckert’s signature hard ciders, paired with small bites prepared by local vendors, including Bogart’s BBQ, Bennie’s Pizza, Twisted Biscuits, Old Vienna, Switchgrass Spirits, and many more.

Additional festival perks include culinary demonstrations, live music, and optional tours of Eckert’s on-site cidery, which provides guests with a behind-the-scenes look at the cider-making process.

Tickets for Sip & Savor also include admission to Eckert’s winter pop-up, The Lodge. This 21+ event is designed for guests to explore at their own pace and enjoy a relaxed, flavorful winter outing. Tickets for Sip & Savor can be purchased here.

We welcome guests to taste some of the local brands they love, and sample from a  few fresh favorites.”

Sip & Savor event schedule

Sip & Savor will feature a full afternoon and evening of experiences, including:

  • Food pairing and culinary demonstrations taking place at 1, 3 and 5 p.m.
  • Eckert’s Small-Batch Cidery Tours led by Chris Eckert, president of Eckert’s Farms, at 2 and 4 p.m., concluding in the Cider Shed at the Sip & Savor passport station.
  • Live music: Kara & Bob performing in Eckert’s Country Store from 12 Noon to 3 p.m., followed by Adam Harbison in Eckert’s Cider Shed from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
