Town and Country Bank has added a new member of the treasury management team, Lara DeGroot.
She serves as assistant vice president, treasury management officer, and manages the treasury management services for commercial customers in the Metro East area.
“We are pleased to welcome Lara to the Town and Country family,” said David Hopkins, executive vice president, Community Bank President in the Metro East market. “The passion she brings to her position will help us continue to grow and provide high-quality service to our customers.”

She received her bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining Town and Country, she served as treasury management relationship manager at First Mid Illinois Bank & Trust in Edwardsville.
Lara and her husband, Kyle, have two children, Avery and Preston, and live in Highland.
