“We congratulate Dawn, Beata, Susan and Lenny on their selection in 2017 by Who’s Who Legal as among the top franchise lawyers in the world,” said Greensfelder Chief Executive Officer Timothy R. Thornton.

Based in Greensfelder's St. Louis office, Johnson is an officer and head of the firm’s Franchising & Distribution industry group. Her practice focuses on all aspects of the dealer, distributor and franchise relationship, including termination and non-renewal, claims under state and federal relationship laws, and claims such as breach of contract, fraud, tortious interference, antitrust pricing and trademark infringement.

Krakus is an officer based in the firm’s Chicago office. She works with clients across the United States and around the globe, preparing franchise programs for concepts including real estate brokerages, hotels, restaurants, and fitness and personal health systems, among other businesses.

Also working from the Chicago office, Meyer serves “of counsel,” drawing on her experience as a former business owner to work with franchisors on diverse issues and serves as outside general counsel for clients on general business matters. She also handles IP prosecutions, licensing and dispute resolution and has extensive experience in trademark law.

An officer with the firm, Vines has represented national, regional and local franchisors, including start-up and established franchisors, as well as franchisees and franchisee associations. He works closely with litigators on trial strategy and alternative dispute resolution and has represented companies and individuals on legal matters such as real estate transactions and mergers and acquisitions of franchise companies. He is based in the firm’s St. Louis office.
