A wide range of topics, from the new marijuana law to taxes, are expected to be discussed in a town hall meeting set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at O’Fallon City Hall.
The purpose of the public is to provide updates on city business and answer questions from the St.
Clair County community.
The meeting will be aired live and available following the meeting “on demand” at the city’s website: https://www.ofallon.org/public-access-television/pages/video-on-demand.
“One of my campaign promises was to be more available to the residents of O’Fallon,” said Mayor Roach. “We have been holding these town hall meetings quarterly to present updates about the City of O’Fallon and answer any questions that our residents might have.”
In addition to questions from the community, other topics that will be covered at the town hall include construction projects and a discussion on the new state laws, including:
• Recreational marijuana
• Minimum wage
• Online sales tax
• Motor fuel tax
• Capital bill
A number of O’Fallon’s elected officials and city staff will be in attendance.
